Andrew Roby (Robicsek), a Hungarian immigrant, embarked on a journey that would shape the future of luxury residential contracting in Charlotte—starting as a one-person remodeling and handyman service. Two years later, Roby's commitment to excellence led him to hire Glenn Haston as Superintendent. The two formed a formidable partnership, working together for over 25 years. Their combined vision and hard work laid the foundation for a renowned company tackling significant historical residential renovations. In 1976, Haston bought the firm outright, and today, the second and third generations of the Haston family continue the tradition, carrying forward the legacy of an immigrant's dream turned reality.

After 75 years, the firm is recognized as Charlotte's premier luxury residential contractor, with expanded service locations in Boone and Asheville.
