The new kitchen layout provides a balanced floor plan that enhances the connection with the breakfast area for increased entertaining and livability. Work zones were strengthened by adding more work surfaces to the cooking and cleanup areas. The new island with the radius counter top focuses one’s attention to the new range and cooking area and are perfectly placed for guests and entertaining. A pantry was added for more storage and the double ovens and warming drawers were moved to a more efficient location. The Breakfast area was given a comfortable bench seating area with ample storage below and shelving on each side of the window for display of family photos, favorite books and the like. The sleek lined appliances combine with the beautiful wood trim and custom cabinets, all of which are set off by dramatic lighting to create a distinctive yet sophisticated cooking and living experience. A couple things came up during this kitchen renovation. Steel beams were found in the ceiling when the electrical rough started; had to have a meeting at the round table to design a new layout that would still give the perfect lighting.
