This 1950's home containing original “Japanese” style architecture was remodeled by building on an addition for a new office, studio, extra guest bedrooms and bathrooms. To achieve a harmonious transition from the house to the addition, Andrew Roby matched the exterior fully, reworked the decking with Japanese inspired accents, added an outdoor studio to the back and built a waterfall into the stone wall. Inside, floor to ceiling windows were installed, bedrooms redesigned to follow suite and bathrooms included waterfall showers. On the lower level addition, studio, guest suites, guest bathrooms and a large storage room were all included.
