Roby associates have led hands-on classes with CMS students as a part of the "If I Had a Hammer" program.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
In 2008, Andrew Roby Inc. selected the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as its primary cause. In the inaugural “Pitchin’ Corn for a Cure” event, the firm pitted 64 cornhole teams against one another, raising $30,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Dilworth Little League Baseball
Andrew Roby has sponsored at least one Dilworth little league baseball team for more than 30 years with many employees serving as coaches as well.
Habitat for Humanity
Many Andrew Roby team members volunteer and work with Habitat for Humanity, an organization founded on the belief that every person should have shelter and a safe place to live.
Light the Night Walk
Trent Haston and other Roby associates dedicate themselves to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night event. Activists are committed to raising funds and awareness towards finding a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma.
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Andrew Roby is a "Wish Maker" sponsor for the Make A Wish foundation, an organization that strives to provide hope, love, and laughter to kids with life-threatening medical conditions.
Rotary International
Andrew Roby associates are also members of Rotary Club, an organization of business and professional leaders who focus on providing service in the community, in the workplace, and worldwide.
Charlotte Rescue Mission
Roby associates dedicate their time to volunteering at Charlotte Rescue Mission (CRM), a residential program that provides free care to many of Charlotte's homeless and jobless women and men.
City of Charlotte Adopt a City Street
Andrew Roby members have participated in Charlotte's Adopt-A-City Street program. They have adopted Sharon Lane, and are committed to cleaning it at least four times a year.
Jim Harkey Memorial Fund
Andrew Roby members have also served on the board of the Jim Harkey Memorial Fund, the charitable arm of the Charlotte chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
